Facilities

Educational Facilities

We are committed to providing the facilities you�ll need to succeed in your education. The faculty students have exclusive access to the following:

  • two computer classes equipped with Intel Core i7 workstations, 23� LED monitors, high resolution projectors, and whiteboards;
  • two classes with high speed free Wi-Fi and multiple power outlets to connect laptops;
  • Personal Virtual Computer (PVC) infrastructure that provides the access to the cloud services of the university run by the supercomputer.

Research Facilities

Two supercomputers provide powerful and modern environment to pursue faculty�s goals in research, including the university�s flagship �Tornado SUSU� with the following specifications:

  • Computing units/processors/cores: 384/768/4608
  • Processor: Intel Xeon X5680 (Gulftown, 6 cores with frequency 3.33 GHz)
  • Coprocessor: Intel Xeon Phi SE10X (61 cores with frequency 1.1 GHz) � 192 pcs.
  • RAM: 12 TB
  • Disk memory: 150 TB, solid-state drives Intel SSD, parallel storage system Panasas ActiveStor 11
  • Peak performance SKIF Aurora + Tornado SUSU: 473.6 TFlops
